Based on my own experiences of all of the above and more, after my late husband’s passing, when I was empty from head to toe.
I tried dozens and dozens of things… doctors, gym memberships (barely used I was too tired), so many bottles of supplements and magic potions, I lost count, and on it went. BUT slowly, things began to work, I found my rhythm, my energy came back but better, I released 30-pounds of unwanted weight, and my confidence soared. This did not happen overnight, but I was diligent.

One thing I've learned through my own journey and through coaching women over the years is that most of us aren't lacking information.
We know vegetables are good for us.
We know we should drink more water.
We know we should move our bodies.
We know we need to take care of our mindset.
The problem isn't knowledge.
The problem is that we're trying to create change while running on empty.
I hear it often…
We're exhausted. We're stressed. We're overwhelmed and often carrying years of disappointment, grief, worry, and self-criticism.
And then we wonder why another strict plan doesn't work.
Of course it doesn't. We cannot punish ourselves healthy.
Then the guilt. ugh!! We cannot shame ourselves into lasting change.
What Changes After 40
As women move through their 40s, 50s, and beyond, things begin to shift.
Our hormones change.
Our sleep changes.
Our stress levels increase.
Life can feel heavier.
Many of us are navigating loss, divorce, widowhood, caregiving, empty nests, career transitions, or simply the reality that life isn't always easy.
Unplanned situations comes in all shapes and sizes.
Yet most wellness programs still treat us like we're 25.
Eat less.
Exercise more.
Try harder.
Push through.
But what if your body isn't asking you to push harder?
What if it's asking you to slow down long enough to listen?
